In one of the main roles Max Riemelt is in front of the camera for the movie „2:1“. The film, produced by Row Pictures and Zischlermann Filmproduktion, is expected to be released by X-Verleih in 2024.

„2:1“ is about three longtime friends who find the GDR’s millions in the chaos of its collapse. And we get to watch how an old community of solidarity reinvents itself in a decaying society. Until someone turns the wheel too far and puts money into circulation that didn’t exist before. Further leading roles in „2:1“ are played by Sandra Hüller, Ronald Zehrfeld, Ursula Werner and Peter Kurth alongside Max Riemelt.
