On 3 July 2023, the Official Max Riemelt Fan Club was invited to a very special event: We were able to experience the filming of ‘It’s about Luis’ up close. An unforgettable day that gave us exciting insights into the production of the film. It was particularly impressive to watch the filming in the taxi with Max Riemelt and Natalia Rudziewicz. It was fascinating to see how the taxi scenes were created and how much work went into every single shot.

During the set, we also got to talk to the director Lucia Chiarla, who gave us a very personal and interesting look behind the scenes of the film production. Her passion and dedication to the project were palpable and made our visit an unforgettable experience.

The dialogue continued in December 2024, when we discussed the premiere for Aschersleben via Zoom with the film production company Ostlich from Weimar and the film distributor ACROSS NATIONS. At the beginning of the new year 2025, the time had finally come: on 18 January 2025, the long-awaited premiere of ‚Es geht um Luis‘ took place at the Filmpalast Aschersleben. We celebrated this special moment together with Max Riemelt and Lucia Chiarla – a real highlight of our fan club experiences.
But instead of just telling you about it, we would like to invite you to take a look at the premiere for yourself. It was an incredible evening full of emotions and highlights that we were able to share with many great people.

The première tour continued after Aschersleben and took us to further exciting stops. We first travelled to Weimar, followed by premieres in Potsdam, Berlin, Hamburg, Saarbrücken, Karlsruhe, Heidelberg and finally Munich – each city offered its own unique atmosphere and made the tour an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

At the premieres, there was the opportunity to talk to Max Riemelt, Natalia Rudziewicz, Lucia Chiarla and other film crew members, ask questions and find out more about the making of the film. The enthusiasm and positive response from the audience made this tour a great success and provided many unforgettable moments.

Whether in the big cinemas in Berlin or in the charming, smaller theatres in Saarbrücken – the premiere of ‚It’s about Luis‘ was celebrated with great enthusiasm everywhere. We are proud to have been part of this unique journey and look forward to preserving the memories of these unforgettable days.

The film ‘About Luis’ officially opens in cinemas across Germany on 23 January 2025.
